Jim, and his daughter, Katie, and her brother, John get so into caroling that they lose track of time. Their mother, Penny, on the other hand never loses track of time. She loves the holiday season and loves to carol, too. But, it's such a busy time of the year for her that when it comes time to carol she has 100 other things on her mind.

So, sometimes, she appears to be a little angry. But, that's not really what she is. She's harried. She loves to carol, but she's harried. And, she loves spending time with Jim and the kids. They can really get into it and sing their hearts out. It's just that with so many things to do.....

"John - The First Noel Caroler!" is an 11" squared bottomed self-standing Victorian caroler cloth doll. He has a 1/2 muslin body and 1/2 fabric body. His face is water colored and he has water colored brown eyes, and rosy cheeks with white highlight dots. His mouth is open and water colored red. His eyebrows are water colored brown.

John has a mass of thick curly brown doll hair all over his head that is barely controlled under his lined top hat.

He is wearing his favorite blue outfit with gathered at the waist and hips pantaloons. His shirt matches the lining of his jacket and is gathered at the neck. His sleeves are gathered at the shoulders and wrists. The lining of his jacket matches his shirt and tie. His jacket is lined and is gathered along the bottom band. His jacket sleeves are gathered at the shoulders, and gathered at the cuffs and his lapels are folded down.

He is carrying his favorite caroling book.

"John - The First Noel Caroler!" really enjoys spending this time with his family. It is their special time of the year and he really looks forward to it.

He loves to be out with his family and even enjoys the cold weather. Sometimes, in fact, he wishes it would start snowing while they are caroling. In his mind, that would be magical. Cold, but, magical.

"Here we go a caroling..............."

Flat Out Santa And Flat Out Rudy For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

It's time for both Santa and Rudy to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time.  Here's "Flat Out Santa and Flat Out Rudy."

"Flat Out Santa" and "Flat Out Rudy" make quite the pair. Unfortunately they can't seem to stand up in the snow and ice and end up flat out on their belly's. Fortunately both have been eating a lot of the cookies Mrs. Claus has been baking and have ample padding to spare.

"Flat Out Santa" is glad he ate all those cookies. After all falling flat on your face just isn't fun and they provided plenty of padding for his round belly. Maybe too much! Ho! Ho! Ho!

"Flat Out Santa" is a 19” cloth Santa with a muslin painted face and full white mohair beard and mustache. He has white mohair hair and is wearing a red print cap with white flannel trim and pompom. He has a red felt shirt with white flannel trim and red felt pants with white flannel trim. His boots are black felt and his black mittens are decorated with red felt hearts.

Both "Flat Out Santa" and "Flat Out Rudy" are hoping that they'll be able to stand on the snow and ice before they have to make their visits on Christmas Eve. Lets all hope they can stand by then.

"Flat Out Rudy" know that he isn't the only one who can't stand on the snow and ice. "Flat Out Santa" can't stand either. However, for a reindeer that can be quite embarrassing. He just hopes no one will notice.

"Flat Out Rudy" is a 6” brushed felt reindeer. He has an embroidered face with black bead eyes and red pompom nose. His antlers are made out of pipe cleaners. He is wearing a red flannel and fringed scarf and a plaid cloth fringed scarf. He is also wearing his favorite red socks. Unfortunately they don't do anything to keep him upright.

Rough and Tough Barney For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

Boys like to say "YUCK" to dolls, but sometimes there is a doll they like. Such is the case with our next Santa.

It's time for the Santa's to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time.

It's "Rough and Tough Barney's" time to shine.

"Rough and Tough Barney" is a woodland Santa who is also one of the few dolls that even my brothers have to admit they like. You see, my brothers think they're "tough." They're "rough and tough" and, well, "rough and tough" are manly and like manly things. They don't like dolls - or so they say. We know better.

Rough and Tough Barney is a 20 free standing wood and cloth Santa with drawn and blushed face, full beard and mustache, black wood shoes, and wood knob nose. He is wearing a flannel shirt that is gathered at the wrists and neck. His pants with suspenders have pant legs that are tucked inside his socks which are also wrapped with jute to keep the snow out. He is wearing his favorite knit cap with pompom and is carrying a burlap bag filled with painted wood toys. His bag is tied with jute to keep all the toys from falling out.

"Rough and tough" Barney has no problem being a woodland Santa doll. After all - he's "rough and tough" and, well, "rough and tough" can handle anything. Even being dolls!

"Let's Go Hunting Joe!" is a woodsman to the core like his cousin, "Let's Go Hunting Santa." He's ready to get going. It's hunting season and everyone has already started. His problem is that he can't find his cousin, "Let's Go Hunting Santa." He's been looking everywhere for him.

His cousin, "Let's Go Hunting Santa", is as rugged as they come. He doesn't mind a little cold weather, hot weather, or even rainy weather. He loves the outdoors and all that comes with it.Of course, he also loves to hunt. Not for sport, but to talk to his "friends." You see, he loves nature and he loves all his animal friends. He "hunts" just to talk to them. To him there is nothing better than a brisk walk in the woods and talking to all his "deer" friends.

"Let's Go Hunting Joe!" is a 13” cloth woodsman drawn and blushed face with wood knob nose, a full beard, mustache, and eyebrows. His finished flannel shirt is gathered at the wrists and neck and his pants are gathered at the lower leg and waist. Olde St. Nick - Plump & Jolly For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series"

It's time for a big Santa to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" Series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time and here's "Olde St. Nick - Plump and Jolly."

"Olde St. Nick - Plump & Jolly!" doesn't know what he would do without Mrs. Claus. He just adores her and is astonished at the amount of work she can get done in one day.

She's ready, willing, and able to do anything and anything she can to help.

She might be cooking for him and the elves. They do tend to get a little hungry after all that hard work.

Or she might be crafting something for the good boys and girls. There's always so many presents that have to be made. Everyone has to pitch in and help.

Or she might be decorating for the holidays. They do tend to have a lot of decorations at the North Pole! Floral crafts are her favorite.

Or she might be washing and cleaning. Elves do tend to be messy - especially the boy elves.

Or, she might be exercising the reindeer. They, too, need to be in shape for their journey.

Or, she may be playing nurse to the elves who have the flu. Elves tend to overwork themselves and get a little run down - especially the boy elves.

Or she might be running to the grocery store. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus need to get supplies. They like to shop at the North Pole Walmart.

Or she might be paying the bills. Santa does tend to rack up the bills.

Or she might be babysitting some of the little elves. Reading a story to the little elves is her favorite time because she just loves to embellish.

Or she might be mending some of his suits. He does tend to put on some weight around the holidays and Mrs. Clause has to let his suits out a little. Okay - has to let his suits out a LOT!

"Olde St. Nick - Plump & Jolly!" is a 24" country St. Nick from our "Pleasantly Plump Series." He is a squared bottomed self-standing cloth and wood doll. His arms and hands are wired and his cloth head and cloth body are supported by a wood dowel and wood base.

His face is embroidered and he has blue water colored and sunken eyes, an embroidered and raised nose, and a red mouth. His eyebrows, mustache, and full beard are made of raw mohair. His cheeks are pencil colored and blushed rosy. He has shading under his eyes and around his nose.

St. Nick has a mass of white wool roving hair under his Santa cap. His cap is lined, fur trimmed, tassel and pompom decorated, and is attached to the top and back of his head. His round frame glasses sit on the bridge of his nose.

St. Nick is wearing his favorite holiday jacket and cap. His long jacket is fur trimmed along the sleeve edges, bottom edge, and front edges. It is gathered at the neck and fastened in the front with six DMC embroidery bows. A gold cord is wrapped around his waist and tied in a knot in the front.

He is holding a bag of Christmas toys that is gathered and tied with zig-zag trim.

Santa really doesn't know what he would do without Mrs. Claus. Whether it's cooking, sewing, crafting, cleaning, exercising, shopping, nursing, bookkeeping, babysitting, decorating, reading stories, or one of one hundred other tasks that need to be done she's always there to help.

She is one busy lady and indispensable to Santa.

Santa Me For The "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho! Series

It's time for some different kinds of  Santa's to shine at the "It's Starting To Ho! Ho! Ho!" series.

Get ready - it's Ho! Ho! Ho! time.

Here's "Santa Me."

I just love to experiment. Especially with wood and cloth. So, I decided to see what I could do with a bunch of wood finials that I had.

If you don't know what a "finial" is it is an ornament at the top of a piece of furniture. Like a curtain rod or lamp, etc.

I decided that the "finial" I had would make a great body for a primitive Santa make-do. So, "Santa Me" was created.

"Santa Me" is an 8" a primitive Santa make-do with a stand alone wood body and cloth head. His face is embroidered and his cheeks are blushed.

"Santa Me" has thick mohair yarn for his loopy beard and mustache. His straight hair made of thick mohair yarn sticks out from the top and side of his head in three spots. The back of his head is totally bald.

"Santa Me's" finial wood body is painted antique maroon and he has a painted black and gold belt and black dash highlights.

"Santa Me" loves being different and loves being the first in a new series. He's adventuresome and loves to be bold and daring. Best of all he loves being unique. As a wooden Santa finial - that he is.
