Spring Is In The Air and There Are Bunnies All Around At The Dollie Fashion Show

We get to change our clocks soon and that means "SPRING IS IN THE AIR AND THERE ARE BUNNIES ALL AROUND!"

Actually I think that phrase is and there is music all around.

That's okay.

I like "bunnies all around" much better.

It's not that I don't like music. I love all kinds of music.

It's just that I get to showcase my "bunnies" in the spring and I just love doing that.

Of course, all the other "dollies" get a little jealous over this.

I don't mind.

I think I'm fair in showcasing each in their turn.

They might not agree, but I do get to decide when I write about them and when I showcase them.

That is - I like to think I get to decide! LOL LOL

In any event, as usual I'm off track.

It's almost SPRING.

YIPPEE!!!!!!

First on the runway is "I Want To Be An Easter Bunny!"

"I Want To Be An Easter Bunny" looks forward to Easter every year.

He just loves Easter Eggs and Easter Eggs hunts.

To be out with the children in the Spring time searching for Easter Eggs is just so enjoyable.

Did we mention it was his favorite time of the year?

"I Want To Be An Easter Bunny" can hardly wait each year to put on his Easter outfit.

It doesn't matter to him that he's really a bear and not a bunny.

He figures with his costume he can fool anyone.

He fooled you, didn't he?

"I Want To Be An Easter Bunny" is a 12” & 6” Brushed Felt Bear Dressed in Easter Bunny Costume including Easter Basket. Her Designer was "Homespun At Heart."

If you would like to order "I Want To Be An Easter Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Spring is in the air and "Freckles" couldn't be happier.

He also couldn't be any cuter.

Unfortunately he knows this and uses his "cuteness" to charm all his sweetheart bunnies. And, he has quite a few of them.

Given the number he has this can cause quite a disturbance from time to time.

Especially when he forgets and schedules two dates in the same time frame. YIKES!

He's scrambling then.

Freckles has always thought it was funny that he was named "Freckles" when in fact he doesn't have any.

His mother and father have tons between them and figured he would, too, when he grew up so they named him Freckles at birth.

When he grew up he didn't have any, but the name seemed to fit him and his enduring charm.

He's Freckles. He's charming, and he really is quite the star.

He's just plain "Freckly Cute!"

Freckles is a 12" plush felt cloth bunny with black bead eyes, an embroidered face, pompom nose, pompom tail, embroidered felt vest with stars and floral ribbon decorations. His pattern designer is "Homespun At Heart."

Unfortunately "Freckles" is sold out.  But, he begged and pleaded to still be in "The Dollie Fashion Show" so I let him.  The things you do for your "dollies!" LOL LOL

Next we have Ethel Earth Bunny and she is definitely "green" in more ways than just her coloring.

Spring is in the air and "Ethel Earth Bunny" is very, very excited.

In fact, she's had her watering can cleaned and polished for weeks now.

She wants to make sure she's ready to water all her plants.

You see, Ethel loves flowers and has gone "green" in more ways than one.

Her outfit is "green" but Ethel is also a nature lover and believes in conservation and saving Mother Earth.

So, she does everything she can to conserve fuel, only uses biodegradable products and paper bags when she goes grocery shopping.

No plastic bags for her.

No way.

"Ethel Earth Bunny" is very concerned with nature and Mother Earth and hopes you are as well. After all, Mother Earth is home to all of us.

"Ethel Earth Bunny" is a 15" plush felt cloth bunny with embroidered eyes, an embroidered and blushed face, glasses, half terry cloth ears, and boots with socks and ties. She is wearing a fringed and gathered dress with doily collar and button decorations. Her apron is decorated with lace, she has a bandanna tied around her neck, and is wearing fringed bloomers. Ethel is carrying a watering can in one hand and is holding a basket of silk florals in the other.

She was made based upon a "Just My Imagination" pattern.

If you would like to buy "Ethel Earth Bunny" please click on her picture above or CLICK HERE.

The "dollies" have been on a "bunny" craze this week. They want EVERY bunny that I've ever made introduced and have been driving me crazy about it. So, I decided to add them all just to keep the "dollies" happy.

So, get ready. We have more bunnies. This time they're bunny sisters.

"Polly O'Hare" is related to "Holly O'Hare Me Fine" and is the oldest of the two sisters.

"Polly O'Hare" thinks her colors are much better than her sister, "Holly O'Hare Me Fine."

And, certainly better than all her brothers - those wild and crazy O'Hare's.

They're rich, regal, and very lady like.

In fact, she thinks she is the essence of fine taste.

Certainly not wild and certainly not crazy.

Sometimes Polly is a little embarrassed by the craziness of her brothers.

They're always teasing her about her manners and her disposition.

You see, she's a bit of a Pollyanna.

Prim, proper and quiet as a mouse.

Always lady like and always well-mannered.

Molly is very lady-like, too. Just not as much so as Polly is.

Polly figures that's alright as she has more than enough manners for the both of them.

Now her brothers - well, that's a different story.

"Polly O'Hare" is a 14" free standing wood and brushed suede cloth with drawn and blushed face, gathered dress with lace full collar, gathered apron, bloomers, socks, bows, large ribbon bow, sinamay hat, slight tuft of hair, and decorative carrots. She was made based upon a Mulberry Street pattern design.

If you would like to order "Polly O'Hare" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Next, is another bunny sister.

Only this time, she's "Ethel Bunny's" sister, "Agatha Bunny."

They look so much alike that sometimes they are mistaken as twins.

They're not.

Just sisters.

Unlike "Ethel Bunny" - "Agatha Bunny" does have a green thumb. She's just like her mother.

Whatever she plants always comes up.

Whatever plant she tends is always healthy and full.

Whatever dying plant she brings home is always resurrected.

She just can't miss when it comes to her green thumb.

Agatha feels bad for her sister, Ethel. She's tried to teach her how to take care of her plants. It's to no avail.

Ethel just doesn't have a green thumb no matter what she does. So, Agatha tends Ethel's plants for her.

She doesn't mind.

In fact, she's more than happy to do so.

She'd rather that then see the poor plants failing.

Dying plants - Oh, No!

Not when Agatha is around.

Here dear - you need some water!

"Agatha Bunny" is a 16" Cloth faux suede bunny with an embroidered face, black button eyes, gathered dress, gathered bloomers, apron, kerchief, bandanna, tuft of hair, and a watering can.

She was made based upon a "Just My Imagination" pattern.

If you would like to order "Agatha Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Spring is in the air and "Hattie Bunny & Pal" is thrilled. It's hard to imagine but Spring is her favorite time of the year.

Now why is that?

Could it be because she is a bunny after all?

Or could it be because she just loves the clean fresh air that the Spring always brings after a long snowy winter.

Hattie always brings her favorite bunny pal with her wherever she goes.

She's had her bunny doll since she was a child which was how many years ago Hattie?

Oh, I'm sorry.

You're right.

It isn't polite to ask a lady her age.

Let's just say for a LONG time now.

"Hattie Bunny & Pal" is a 19" muslin cloth Country bunny with an embroidered and blushed face, and two-colored ears. She is wearing a fringed dress with a silk floral decoration and jacket with buttons. Her bloomers are lace decorated and she is sporting partial socks. She's wearing her favorite hat and has a bow in her unbelievably white hair. In her right hand she is carrying her favorite bunny doll pal.

She was created based upon a "A Piece of Heart" pattern.

If you would like to order "Hattie Bunny & Pal" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Next we have "String Sally" who is just raring to go to decorate your home for the Spring.

"String Sally" might be made of string, but she never likes to be strung along.

After all, who does?

No one that she knows of.

"String Sally" is the perfect decoration for any room in your house.

She can be strung anywhere.

Just make sure you tell her where she's going.

Don't keep promising to place her somewhere and not do it.

After all, she doesn't like to be strung along.

"String Sally" is a 23" plush felt cloth bunny with black bead eyes, embroidered heart cheeks, embroidered face, and a floral ribbon decoration on the top of her head. She is wearing a fringed and gathered dress, fringed and gathered apron with a heart decorated pocket, and socks. Her bloomers are fringed and gathered and she is carrying resin carrots in her string hand.

She was made based upon a "Sweet Dreams" pattern.

If you would like to order "String Salle" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Spring is in the air and "Joshua Rabbit" is prepared for all the teasing.

It's hard to imagine but, with those big wooden cheeks he gets teased a lot.

He doesn't understand why that is.

After all, most bunny's have puffy cheeks.

His are just large and wooden and, quite frankly, he thinks - quite astonishing.

"Joshua Rabbit" can handle all the teasing about his cheeks.

His sister, Julia Rabbit, has a tougher time with it. She is very shy and sensitive and doesn't understand what the big to do is about her cheeks. They inherited them from their Mother's side of the family and everyone on that side of the family has had big wooden cheeks for generations

"Joshua Rabbit" is a 22" wood and cloth self-standing bunny. He has a painted wood face, two-colored ears, a tuft of hair, and large wooden cheeks. He is wearing a fringed and gathered shirt adorned with buttons, ribbons, and a large bow. His pantaloons are gathered and cuffed. He has fabric covered wood dowel legs, socks, and wood boots decorated with raffia bows. In his right hand he is carrying a wood bird house.

He was made based upon a "Sawdust & Stitches" pattern.

If you would like to order "Joshua Rabbit" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Next we have "Julia Rabbit" who can sit anywhere you'd like.

"Julia Rabbit" prefers to hang out with her fine feathered friends.

They are more understanding of her big wooden cheeks and don't tease her about them like the other "bunnies" do.

"Julia Rabbit" has a tougher time with the teasing than her brother, Joshua Rabbit.

She is very shy and sensitive and doesn't understand what the big too do is about her cheeks. They inherited them from their Mother's side of the family and everyone on that side of the family has had big wooden cheeks for generations.

Why do the other "bunnies" make fun of her?

You like them - don't you?

"Julia Rabbit" a 22" wood and cloth self-sitting bunny. She has a painted wood face, two-colored ears, a tuft of hair, and large wooden cheeks. She is wearing a fringed, gathered, and lace trimmed dress adorned with a doily collar. Her bloomers are gathered and fringed. She has fabric covered wood dowel legs, socks, and wood boots decorated with ribbon bows. In her right hand she is carrying a wood bird house with one of her feathered friends. (Please Note: Chair not included.)

She was created from a "Sawdust & Stitches" pattern.

"SPRING IS IN THE AIR AND WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN A GATHERING OF O'HARES!"

Not much as far as the O'Hares are concerned.

Anytime they can get together the better for them.

They just love to show off and tease each other.

And, they just LOVE movies. Especially movies about bunnies and Ireland.

In fact, their favorite movie is "The Quiet O'Hares" which is a bunny version of the classic movie "The Quiet Man."

Here's the four O'Hare brothers:

Spring is in the air and "John O'Hare" is prepared for the harvest.

In fact, he already his his carrots dug up and is ready to put them on sale.

He spend the morning harvesting them, but you wouldn't know that from what he's wearing.

Now you might be wondering why John would be dressed in his finest clothes to harvest carrots.

Well, as the oldest of the O'Hare brothers he always needs to set an example.

So, he always wears his finest outfit.

Of course, we know he has a little secret. You see, he has several sets of the same outfit and, if need be, just goes home to change after harvesting.

His three brothers - Jack, Peter, and Paul don't know his little secret so please don't tell them.

John O'Hare is an 11" coffee stained warm & natural cloth bunny. He has black bead eyes, an embroidered face, pink animal nose, and tuft of hair on the top. He also has a straw hat on his head which cannot contain his embroidered and patches ears. His shirt is gathered and decorated with a bow, and he is wearing a lined vest and pantaloons. He is carrying a bunch of fresh cloth carrots in his right hand and a rake with a wood sign in his right hand.

He was made based upon a "Homespun At Heart" pattern.

If you would like to order "John O'Hare" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Next we have "Jack O'Hare" who is the "rebel" of the family

"Jack O'Hare" is the third oldest brother of the O'Hare clan and is a little bit of a rebel.

He always seems to get involved in one scruff or another with his MUM forever begging the principal not to suspend him from school.

Jack's mother had a tough time this week with Jack's principal so Jack figured he needed to do something sweet for his MUM.

So he decided to get dressed in his finest embroidered vest - the one his MUM made and go buy her the best bunch of carrots he could find.

He's hoping this will soften his MUM up for what he knows is coming. His punishment for fighting once again in school.

"Jack O'Hare" is an 11" warm & natural cloth bunny. He has black bead eyes, an embroidered face, and a pink button nose. He also has a straw hat on his head adorned with fruit which cannot contain his embroidered and patches ears. He is wearing a zig-zag embroidered lined vest that is adorned with buttons and a large bow. Billowing pantaloons round out his outfit. He is carrying a bunch of fresh cloth carrots in his left hand.

He was made based upon a "Homespun At Heart" pattern.

If you would like to order "Jack O'hare" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Next up is the baby of the family - "Peter O'Hare."

Unlike his brother, Jack O'Hare, "Peter O'Hare" is a sweet soul.

He is gentle and kind and would never think of getting into a fight with anyone.

For him the challenge is to out smart the person who are having a problem with not pummel them like his brother, Jack does.

Some people speculate that Peter is the apple of his MUM's eye.

She won't say, but it certainly doesn't hurt when you are sweet, kind, and will do anything your MUM wants.

He's everything a bunny MUM could ever want in a son.

His brothers tease him that he can't be Irish.

He's too gentle and kind for that.

"Peter O'Hare" is an 11" warm & natural cloth bunny. He has black bead eyes, an embroidered face, and a pink button nose. He also has a straw hat on his head adorned with fruit which cannot contain his embroidered and patches ears. He is wearing a zig-zag embroidered lined vest that is adorned with buttons and a large bow. Pantaloons round out his outfit. He is carrying a bunch of fresh cloth carrots in his left hand.

He was made based upon a "Homespun At Heart" pattern.

If you would like to order "Peter O'hare" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Last, but not least, is "Paul O'Hare" - "John O'Hare's" twin.

They may dress alike, but "Paul O'Hare" is nothing like his twin brother.

He hates harvesting and could care less about planting carrots.

In fact, when it comes to harvesting Paul may carry a rake, wood sign, and a bunch of carrots, but they are there for show only.

It's his private joke.

He bought the carrots at the local grocery store and his rake has never touched soil.

You will never find Paul O'Hare gardening.

Why?

Well, he wouldn't want to get his clothes dirty.

Forget having multiple sets like his twin brother, John. (Yes, he knows his little secret). What a waste of money.

Paul would rather buy a book, especially if it's a book of Irish jokes.

"Paul O'Hare"is an 11" coffee stained warm & natural cloth bunny.

If you would like to order "Paul O'Hare" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

We hope you liked the all the O'Hare brothers.

Sometimes when you make a doll they come out a little different than you expect. Such was the case with Philip and Betty - 2 bunnies that I made. Betty turned out to be grandmotherly and Philip turned out to be the sweetest grandfather.

Next are two wonderful bunnies named Betty and Philip:

"Philip" is the quintessential sweet grandfather.

He loves his grandchildren to death and would spoil them if Betty, his wife, didn't stop him.

He figures that his grandchildren are only young once so why not give them everything he didn't have growing up.

Nowadays there are just so many wonderful toys, video games, and gadgets that sometimes it takes Philip hours to select a toy when he goes to the toy store.

He just loves to test them all out before he decides if they are right for his grandchild. At least that's what he tells, Betty.

We know better.

Philip just loves to play with the toys, video games, and gadgets.

Actually what he's doing is getting one up on his grandchildren by becoming familiar with everything before they ask him to play it.

That way he'll know how to let his grandchildren win.

He is the sweetest Grandfather - even if his grandchildren do beat him!

Wink! Wink!

"Philip" is a 14" brushed suede cloth bunny with black bead eyes, an embroidered and blushed face, freckles and embroidered & patched 2-color ears. He has a tuft of gray hair and glasses. He is wearing corduroy pantaloons, a lined jacket with cuffs and covered buttons, and has an embroidered and heart decorated tie. He is carrying a resin Easter egg in one hand and a resin carrot in the other.

He was made based upon a "Homespun At Heart Designs" pattern.

If you would like to order "Philip" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Betty" is a no nonsense Grandmother.

She loves her grandchildren to death, but worries that Philip, her husband, spoils them too much.

She, too, wants them to have everything she didn't have as a child, but also wants them to have a realistic view of the world.

Not everything can be given to you on a silver platter. You have to work for the things you want in life.

Betty also knows Philip's toy store secret.

She knows he spends hours in the toy store learning how to play the games, video's and other gadgets just so he can let the grandchildren win.

He is the sweetest grandfather and Betty wants him to stay that way.

So, she doesn't say anything to him when he makes his excuses for being there for hours.

"It was crowded!

It was so busy, Betty!

You should have seen the long lines at the register!

Their computers were down!"

Okay, Philip. We believe you.

Wink! Wink!

As grandparents go they don't get much better than Betty and Philip.

"Betty" is a 14" brushed suede cloth bunny with black bead eyes, an embroidered and blushed face, freckles and embroidered & patched 2-color ears. She has a tuft of gray hair under her crochet hat and has a bright pink satin stitched nose. Her blouse is gathered and her skirt is gathered with straps, buttons, and decorative bows. Her bloomers are gathered and she has a handkerchief shawl wrapped around her shoulders. She is carrying a resin Easter egg in her right hand.

She was created based upon a "Homespun At Heart Designs" pattern.

If you would like to order "Betty" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

You may have noticed that not only do I like to make dolls, but sometimes I like to play with wood.

Some of my dolls are wood only and some are a combination of wood and cloth.

Sometimes I even vary and just make a woodcraft. Wood decorations to compliment one's home decor.

Spring is just around the corner and these two bunnies definitely know it.

In fact, they can hardly wait to "Welcome Spring" and your guests into your home.

They would be perfect on a front door or hanging in any room of your house.

While they wait for Spring they'll just be "Hanging By the Fence!"

"Hanging By The Fence" is an 11" x 18" "Welcome Spring" hanging woodcraft.

They were made based upon a "Pretty Primitives" pattern.

If you would like to order "Janging By the Fence" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Our next woodcraft doesn't like hanging around.

She prefers to "Hop On In!":

"Hattie Hippity-Hop" prefers to hop from here to there, to there.

Anywhere you'd like to place her would be just fine with Hattie.

"Hattie Hippity-Hop" is a 7" self-standing wood bunny.

She has a green ribbon bow, grapevine heart wreath and large wood carrot.

If you would like to order "Hattie Hippity-Hop" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Of course, her sister, "Mattie Hippity-Hop" wouldn't like that.

No - not at all!

"Mattie Hippity-Hop" prefers to stay put.

She doesn't like to hop from room to room to room like her sister, Hattie.

"Mattie Hippity-Hop" is a 7" self-standing wood bunny.

She has a blue lace collar and blue ribbon bow, grapevine circle wreath with cloth bow and large wood carrot.

If you would like to order "Mattie Hippity-Hop" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

We hope you enjoyed the "Spring Is In The Air and There Are Bunnies All Around" show at " The Dollie Fashion Show."

We know all the bunnies did.

Bunnies, Bunnies, and Even More Bunnies At The Dollie Fashion Show

Spring is the air! It's everywhere!

Spring is in the air! It's everywhere!

Get ready for the "Bunnies, Bunnies, and Even More Bunnies" at "The Dollie Fashion Show."

Continuing our showcase of bunnies we have bunnies made by Linda from other designers patterns.

We hope you enjoy the bunny show.

It's going to be "hopping FUN!"

"Gertrude Bunny" knows that she's as cute as a button.

Make that "cute as a bunny!"

She doesn't let that go to her head either.

Just like her cousin, "Harold The Bunny," she knows when to turn on the charm and when not to.

"Gertrude Bunny" is especially interested in her turn down the fashion show runway. She knows there is a special "bunny boy" in the audience that came just to see her and she wants to make a good impression.

So, she'll turn on her "bunny cuteness" to its full extent. I'm sure he'll think she's "as cute as a bunny!"

Don't you?

She was made based upon a "Sparkles N Spirit" pattern.

"Gertrude Bunny" is a 20” Cloth and wood self standing bunny with embroidered face, black bead eyes, lined socks, bloomers, pinked dress, apron, under sleeves, lined hat, and lots of bow decorations.

If you would like to order "Gertrude Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

Second up on the "hopping" down the runway is "Harold - The Bunny."

"Harold The Bunny"is a crowd favorite.

There's just something about his face that draws the audience to him.

Especially the women.

He's just so "bunny cute!"

Harold doesn't let all the attention he gets from the girls go to his head. He knows he's "bunny cute", but he's also quite bright, has a great sense of humor, has great taste in clothes, loves his family, and works hard.

He is respectful and kind.

Harold is "bunny cute", but he's a whole lot more.

His  Designer  is "Sparkles N Spirit."

"Harold The Bunny" is a 20” Cloth and wood self sitting bunny with an embroidered face, black bead eyes, lined socks, cuffed shorts, pinked shirt, under sleeves, lined hat, bow, and floral decorations.

If you would like to order "Harold The Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Holly O'Hare Me Fine"just loves her light green colors.

She's a bit of a genealogy buff and is hoping that a search for her roots will tell her she has a bit of "the Irish" in her.

That might explain her love for the color green. Irish or not?

What do you think?

She was made based upon a Mulberry Street pattern design.

"Holly O'Hare Me Fine" is a 14" free standing wood and brushed suede cloth with drawn and blushed face, gathered dress with lace full collar, gathered apron, bloomers, socks, bows, large ribbon bow, sinamay hat, slight tuff of hair, and decorative carrots.

CLICK HERE or on the picture above to Buy "Holly O'Hare Me Fine" NOW.

"Hello, Susie" is a delightful bunny addition for any home decor.

She can be hung just about anywhere to welcome your guests into your home at spring time.

Hang her on the wall, hang her on your door, hang her just about anywhere.

She's a "bunny welcome delight."

She was made from a "The Country Porch" pattern.

"Hello, Susie" is a 16” Painted wooden bunny picture with wood painted "welcome" heart, wood painted carrot, crocheted doily, two large cloth bows, and a rake.

If you would like to order "Hello, Susie Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Henri Hare At Your Service" will do anything his wife asks him, even chasing down the youngsters.

They can just be so rambunctious.

And so FAST!

He has to wear his lightest cargo pants just to keep up with them. Once he catches them they are no match for Henri and settle right down. They wouldn't want to disappoint Dad!

After all, they're chips off the old "Henri" block.

He was made based upon a "Mulberry Street" pattern.

"Henri Hare At Your Service" is a 29" free standing wood and brushed suede cloth bunny with black bead eyes, embroidered and blushed face, shirt, bright pink tie embroidered with a carrot, embroidered vest with a pocket, socks and hat.

He is carrying two baby stuffed bunnies with scarves and is wearing a pair of lightweight infant cargo pants.

If you would like to order "Henri Hare At Your Service" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Hanna Bunny For A Day" just wishes she could have a day off.

Maybe be a "queen for the day" and be waited on hand and foot.

Don't get her wrong.

She loves her husband Henri and all her little bunnies.

She wouldn't trade her family for anything.

It's just sometimes......

Her Designer is " Mulberry Street."

"Hanna Bunny For A Day" is a 30" free standing wood and brushed suede cloth bunny with black bead eyes, embroidered and blushed face, yellow gingham gathered dress with full doily lace collar, gathered apron with lace pockets and bows, bloomers, socks, and lace trimmed bonnet decorated with a silk floral.

She is carrying a stuffed baby bunny and one hand and another in her pocket.

If you would like to order "Hanna Bunny For A Day" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Planting Pete" can hardly wait for the Spring to arrive. He is just so anxious to get out there and start his vegetable garden.

In fact, towards the end of the long Winter that is all he can think about.

"Planting Pete Bunny" has decided he's only going to grow organic vegetable this year. He read that they were better for your health so he's decided that's what he's going to do.

First, he needs to read up on exactly what that entails and then it's "off to his planting" for him.

He was created form a "Between Friends." pattern.

"Planting Pete Bunny" is a 22” Cloth bunny with drawn face, pants with suspenders, button decorated shirt, socks, tuft of hair, bow tie, watering can, and rake.

If you would like to order "Planting Pete Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"May Bunny" is also very anxious for the Spring season to arrive. It's her favorite time of the year because it's when her "adorable pansies" are in bloom.

She just loves going out in the morning to be greeted by hundreds of smiling pansy faces.

"May Bunny" figures that she has never seen two pansy faces that were alike. Each and every one is an individual.

That's doesn't bother May. She could look at thousands of pansy faces and still want to see the next thousand.

In her eyes there is no such thing as an ugly "pansy."

She was created based upon a "Between Friends."

"May Bunny" is a 26” Cloth bunny with drawn face, gathered pants, dress with ruffles, apron with shoulder ties, bows, and floral basket accents.

If you would like to order "May Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Ethel" wishes she had a green thumb like her mother, but she doesn't.

She has under watered, over watered, and just about killed all of her plants.

She's read a hundred and one books of "How To Care For Your Plants" and still can't get it right.

She figures that she'll go to the bookstore one more time to see if there is another book she can buy that will help her.

She's at her wits end with her plants.

She doesn't know what she's doing wrong.

Can you help her?

Her designer was "Just My Imagination>"

"Ethel" is a 16” Cloth faux suede bunny with an embroidered face, black button eyes, gathered dress, gathered bloomers, apron, kerchief, bandanna, tuft of hair, and a watering can.

If you would like to order "Ethel Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Abigail" can't decide whether to be Victorian or be "shabby chic."

She could be either and would fit right in to a Victorian home decor or a "shabby chic" cottage decor.

She loves both and really can't decide which to be.

Can you help her?

"Abigail Bunny" especially likes her lace & floral headdress. She figures that her lace & floral head dress, as well as her Victorian accents, are what set her apart from all the other bunnies.

She loves being a little "Victorian" or a little "shabby chic."

Now if she could just decide which one to be.

Victorian or shabby chic?

Victorian or shabby chic?

Hmm.....

Her designer is "Angel’s Attic."

"Abigail Bunny" is a 23” Faux suede Victorian bunny with a drawn face, fringed and gathered dress with an embroidered collar decorated with a lace heart, decorated hearts with bows on her feet, tuft of hair, resin carrot, and lace & floral headdress.

If you would like to order "Abigail Bunny" please click on the picture above or CLICK HERE.

"Sweet Cheeks" is every bit as "sweet" as her name implies.

She has the pinkish, sweetest cheeks you'd ever want to see.

Sometimes they are a cause of embarrassment, especially when the other bunnies can't tell whether she's blushing or not.

"Sweet Cheeks" got her name from her Dad on the day she was born.

He just looked at her and fell in love, especially with her bright pink cheeks. They were so sweet that he decided right then and there to call her "Sweet Cheeks."

Of course, he had to check with her Mother first, but he was hoping that she would agree.

I guess she did.

She was made based upon a "Stitches and Sawdust" pattern

"Sweet Cheeks" is a 20” Brushed felt bunny with an embroidered face, black bead eyes, curly tuff of hair, gathered dress with a pocket and lace doily, gathered bloomers, resin carrot, and bow decorations.

"Spring Is In The Air! You Can Feel It!" With Linda's Bunnies At The Dollie Fashion Show

"Spring is in the air!"

Can't you feel it?

"Spring is in the air!"

It's everywhere.

It's so refreshing in the spring time. Especially after a long New England winter. So, we decided that we need to shed our winter woes negativity (it has been a very long winter so far) and adopt a positive attitude with a cheery spring time outlook.

So, next up on the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show" should be our own Spring dolls and crafts.

On the runway now is "Patience - Is a Virtue!"

“Patience - Is A Virtue” is so happy-go-lucky that she has a hard time controlling herself. She just bounces from here to there without a care in the world.

Designer-Linda Walsh Originals

She is a free standing bunny with a warm & natural body with an embroidered face, white buttons for eyes, lace trimmed dress, and lace trimmed apron adorned with 4 large pink buttons. She is coffee stained throughout.

She's just a charming happy-go-lucky primitive bunny. "Spring is in the air!" Hop-hop-hop! Not a care in the world! Hop-hop-hop! Spring is in the air! Hop-hop-hop!

"Bernice Me, Bunny" is pure sunshine. She just loves life, loves everyone, and especially loves the Spring season. It's when she feels the closest to nature and when she gets to wear her most beautiful Victorian dresses.

You see, "Bernice Me, Bunny" loves everything and anything Victorian. Especially the bright and sunny Victorian dresses with lots of foo-foo and lace. The brighter the dress and the larger the lace trim - the better. At least according to Bernice.

"Bernice Me, Bunny" is a 21" Victorian square bottomed warm and natural bodied bunny doll with an embroidered bunny face with black bead eyes and animal nose. Her mouth outline and eyebrows are straight stitched and her cheeks are blushed. Her warm and natural ears are wired with fabric inner ears which are also blushed.

Bernice has a layer of wide lace trim along the bottom of her body. Her favorite Spring Victorian dress is gathered at the bodice and neck edge and the sleeves are gathered at the shoulders and wrists. It has two layers of gathered lace trim above the bottom hem edge, along the sleeve hem edges, and along the waistline.

Her vest is lined and folded then top stitched along the front edge. Her frilly, gathered bonnet is lined and lace trimmed along the edges. It is tied in a bow under her chin. Slits in her gathered bonnet accommodate her wired large ears.

"Bernice Me, Bunny" is just the happiest bunny around and hopes that she can convince you that life is wonderful and Spring is the best time of the year.

"Peter Prim Tail!" and his sister, "Prim Me A Bunny, Mitzy!" are on their way to read to the "bunny kids" at the "Great Bunny Library."

They love to be involved in their bunny community and volunteered to read to the younger bunnies at the "Great Bunny Library!" Maybe we should say, that "Prim Me A Bunny, Mitzy!" thought it would be a wonderful idea for her and her brother, "Peter Prim Tail!" to read to all the younger bunnies.

Peter, on the other hand, would rather be out teaching the younger bunny boys any variety of sports. Hopping, jumping, skipping, relay races, leap frogging, hurdle jumping - that's his thing. Reading is really Mitzy's thing.

But, Mitzy asked him ever so sweetly, so how could he say "no!" He couldn't, so they're off to the "Great Bunny Library" to read to the kids.

They're only problem is what should they read?

"Peter Prim Tail!" is a 20" primitive cloth bunny with an embroidered face with two button eyes. His nose is zig-zag embroidered with black floss and his mouth is outlined with a back stitch in black floss. His eyebrows and eyelashes are straight stitched with black floss, his cheeks are blushed, and he has freckles and whiskers. His ears are wired and bendable and he has cloth plaid inner ears.

He is wearing his favorite shirt and pants. His pants are gathered at the waist and tied in several spots with ties along his legs. His shirt is frayed and has a center pocket. It is gathered at the neck edge. A fringed bandanna is wrapped around his neck and tied in a knot in the front.

"Peter Prim Tail!" has decided that he wants to read the bunny kids some of his favorite comic books. His sister, Mitzy, doesn't consider comic books real books, but Peter feels that to get the "bunny boys", in particular, interested in reading that he should read them something to hold their interest.

And, "Peter Rabbit" and "Alice In Wonderland" are just not going to hold their attention. At least, he doesn't think so.

Mitsy is not so sure. She loves and classics and thinks the "bunny kids" will too. Even the boys.

But, Peter is her brother and is being so nice about reading to the "bunny kids" she doesn't want to upset that. So, she'll let Peter win this battle. At least for this week's story hour.

"Laura, The Quintessential Lady Bunny!" was pacing around the house and couldn't wait for her husband, "Devin, A Bunny Gentleman", to get home.

You see, she was quite beside herself. She just couldn't understand what they hadn't received their invitation to join the "Victorian Animals Tea Society" that was started by "Bearly Victorian, Ryan" and his wife, "Bearly Victorian, Deb!" for all their wonderful Victorian animal friends.

After getting rejected for the umpteenth time from the latest Victorian tea society that he had applied to "Barely Victorian, Ryan!" decided that he and his wife should start their own club.

Their club would truly have an open membership and be accepting of all individuals and creatures. None of this "open to all", but really closed to animals rules. So what if Ryan and Deb were bears. They were still Victorian to the core. In fact, their lineage was probably older than some of the snooty Victorians who turned down their membership application.

Laura and Devin were not only "animals, but "old money" animals which meant they were the creme de la creme of the Victorian animal establishment. They were definitely eligible to join the "Victorian Animals Tea Society." So, why hadn't they received an invitation yet?

"Laura, The Quintessential Lady Bunny!" is a 17" Victorian bunny. She is a self standing bunny doll with a square bottom and warm & natural body. Her face is embroidered and her cheeks are blushed. The outline of her mouth is embroidered with a back stitch and nose is satin stitch embroidered with pink floss. The inside of her mouth is colored pink. The outline of her eyes is back stitch embroidered with black floss and the pupils of her eyes are satin stitched with black floss while her iris are colored brown. The outline of her eyebrows is back stitch embroidered with black floss and her eyebrows are colored gray. She has whiskers on both sides of her cheeks.

Deb has a layer of wonderful lace trim along the bottom of her square body and is wearing a double lace trimmed and gathered slip. Her beautiful coordinating ensemble is the latest in Victorian fashion.

Her dress is gathered at the waistline and along the neck edge. The sleeves are cuffed and are gathered at the shoulders and halfway up the cuff edge. Her dress has has multiple layers of multi-colored and gathered lace trim along the bottom hem edge and along the waistline. She has a matching ascot with several layers of lace trim that is wrapped around her neck, overlapped int he front, and secured with a DMC floss bow.

She has beautifully curly white mohair hair that is barely controlled underneath her frilly, lace trimmed and gathered bonnet which is tied to the right side of her head in a bow. She has wired warm and natural ears with fabric inner ears that are sticking out through the slits in her bonnet..

Her matching shawl is lined, has multiple layers of lace trim along the edges, and is wrapped around her shoulders and tied in a knot in the front. She is carrying a frilly, multi-layered lace trim wicker umbrella with a large silk floral decoration.

"Laura, The Quintessential Lady Bunny!" is quite the epitome of a fashionable lady of society and has been for a very long time. Despite her 70+ years she is still the creme de la creme of society. So, where is her invitation? When will her husband get home?

"Laura, The Quintessential Lady Bunny!" was pacing around the house and couldn't wait for her husband, "Devin, A Bunny Gentleman", to get home. He was working late tonight and wouldn't be home for a few hours. Laura wasn't sure she could wait that long.

"Devin, A Bunny Gentleman!" is an 18" Victorian bunny gentleman. He is a self standing bunny doll with a square bottom and warm & natural body. His face is embroidered and his cheeks are blushed. The outline of his mouth is embroidered with a back stitch and his nose is satin stitch embroidered with pink floss. The inside of his mouth is colored pink. The outline of his eyes is back stitch embroidered with black floss and his pupils are satin stitched with black floss while his iris are colored brown. His eyelashes are straight stitch embroidered with black floss. His eyebrows and long mustache are both made of raw mohair. He has whiskers on both sides of his cheeks.

Devin's beautifully tailored outfit is the latest in Victorian gentleman's wear. His shirt is finished and gathered at the neck edge and his lined vest matches his jacket. He has a lace trimmed ascot wrapped around his neck which is overlapped in the front and tied with a DMC bow.

His jacket is lined and has front pockets and a collar with lapels. His sleeves are cuffed and the edges of his lined jacket are top stitched. His jacket is fastened in the front with two large buttons and DMC floss.

He has beautiful straight white mohair hair that is barely controlled underneath his lined, brimmed, and pointed hat. He has wired warm and natural ears with fabric inner ears that are sticking out through the slits in his hat. There is a separate band around the brim of his hat with feather decorations.

"Devin, A Bunny Gentleman!" knows that when he gets home he will have wonderful news for his wife. You see, he has the invitation to the "Victorian Animals Tea Society" in his pocket. It was hand delivered by "Bearly Victorian, Ryan" himself.

Devin wasn't surprised by the invitation. Despite his 70+ years he is still the creme de la creme of society and fully expected to receive a personal invitation. Just wait until Laura hears. She'll be thrilled.
