The Halloween "dollies" were all talking amongst themselves and that was not good. They were booing and hissing and sputtering and muttering under their breath.
It seems that Linda had posted about the Cloth Doll Artistry Halloween Blog Hop on her Linda's Blog and only included her Victorian Halloween "dollies" - as if they could even be considered scary. Snooty and snobby - never scary!
Well, the rest of the Halloween "dollies" - and there are many of them were in-sensed! No, make that incredulous! Of all the nerve!
They know they're scary and frightening and everything a Halloween doll should be.
So, they joined the Halloween Blog Hop on their own. You be the judge!
They and some of their scariest of friends are available on the Halloween page of our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website.
Bet you were scared out of your wits! Weren't you?

Boo! Boo! The Ghosts Are On The Runway! - For The Dollie Fashion Show
First up for the ghosts on the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show" is Hazard A Guess What I Am?.He is a 7" Primitive Ghost Doll Pattern from our Stout Series.
Hazard A Guess What I Am? seems to have a bit of a problem in that people are not sure that he's a ghost. Sometimes, he's not even sure himself.
He can't understand this confusion because he thinks he's scary at times. He even scares himself.
He's a little confused, but he's not scary. What's up with that?
You see, "Hazard A Guess What I Am?" has a problem with his heritage. He isn't even sure he is from a ghostly line.
If you can't tell he's a ghost and his heredity is in question - how is he ever going to know?
Sometimes he looks like a ghost, he feels like a ghost, and he walks like a ghost. But, is he really a ghost?
Hazard is a free standing ghost doll with a cloth body, and an embroidered face with button eyes. He is wearing a vest and multi-colored fringed scarf. Hazard A Guess What I Am? is coffee stained throughout.

And, right now he has his "Baby" ghosts with him.
They were born just a few days ago and are still just "infant ghost heads."
The rest of their ghostly bodies will develop over time.
For now, they're healthy "infant ghost heads" and "Scarier Per Pound, David" is very happy over that.
“Scarier Per Pound, David” is a free-standing ghost.
He has a worn and shredded gown with gathered long sleeves, square-bottomed body, pinking sheared cut vest, fringed scarf, wire-shaped head, and embroidered face. His arms are wire-shaped and covered.
He has a fabric covered head and covered rectangular wood base. His inner body is supported by a dowel and is covered by his squared –bottom body piece.
He is carrying a “Boo!” bag filled with his 2 small baby wire-shaped "infant ghost heads."
He is just so proud of his kids. He could hardly wait to show them off to everyone.
Orange and black raffia is tied around his neck, his sleeves and his “Boo!” bag.
He might be named "Scarier Per Pound,David" but he us anything but. In fact, he'd be better suited to the name "Prouder Dad Per Pound, David."

Boo! Ghost and Friends was made based upon a Country Cuttin pattern.
Don't let the Halloween bag scare you or the expressions on Boo's drawn and painted face.
Boo! and his friends are all friendly and just want to be with you.

Lighten the atmosphere.
Hoping someone will stay around and talk to him.
Gordon The Ghost is an 18" cloth ghost with a drawn face, large bowtie, and is carrying his painted "Did Somebody Say, Boo!" wood sign. He was created based upon a Isn't That Cute pattern.

We all know that ghosts are supposed to be scary! That's their job - to scare everyone at Halloween, especially the little children.Well, what if there's a ghost that doesn't want to scare anyone - especially little children.
A ghost that just wants to be friends with everyone and a ghost that doesn't just want to be visible at one time of the year.
A ghost that wants to celebrate Christmas, and New Year's Day, and St. Patrick's Day, and Easter, and the 4Th of July, and any of the other holidays.
A ghost that wants to have a family someday of 12 little ghosts running around.
A ghost that is nice and kind and thoughtful and considerate.
Well, that would be "Boo! Hoo! Billy ."
"Boo! Hoo! Billy" is tired of being viewed as mean and nasty and malicious. He's never been nor does he ever want to be anything like that. He just wants to be a normal person with a normal life.
Is that too much to ask?
"Boo! Hoo! Billy" doesn't think so.
"Boo! Hoo! Billy" is a 7" primitive ghost ornament with a coffee stained white muslin cloth body and embroidered face. He is wearing a shredded shirt that he thinks fits him very well and isn't frightful at all. In fact, he will right proudly tell you that he made it himself.
Not only is he a very friendly ghost, but a very handy one, too. He'll need to be after all if he wants to have 12 little ghosts someday. Wouldn't you agree?
I hope you like "Boo! Hoo! Billy." Why he's not scary at all.
There is one "Boo! Hoo! Billy" handmade doll available on our Linda Walsh Originals Handmade Dolls and Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE for his handmade doll.

If you've never seen a proper and dignified, gentleman ghost get ready for "Be Very Afraid, Dennis!"He's every bit the Victorian ghost that be seems.
But, be very afraid! Hmmmm..... I don't think so.
You see, you don't have to be afraid of him because he's not terrifying or nasty.
No! No! No!
It's more like - be very afraid because he'll try to charm the socks off of you.
And, once he's charmed you - well, you're his!
And, then, maybe you should be very afraid!
He's a charmer, he's a gentleman, and he's very much a proper Victorian. So what if he's a ghost?
That doesn't mean anything. Or does it?
Be very afraid! Don't be very afraid! Be charmed! Hmmmmm......
"Be Very Afraid, Dennis!" is a 14" Victorian ghost from our new Holiday Victorian line.
"Be Very Afraid, Dennis!" is a self-standing ghost cloth doll. He has an embroidered and watercolor pencil painted face. He is wearing a coordinated Victorian outfit. He has a black shirt with a coordinating black lace trimmed ascot, a lined and coordinating vest with a button and lapels.

He's wearing his top hat slightly to the right hand side of his head so you can see his wonderful, ghostly head. You see, he thinks that's his best asset.
In fact, "Be Very Afraid, Dennis!" thinks he's got lots of assets and is down right dapper.
"Dapper Dennis!"
Hmmmm...... I don't know about that.
I still think it's smart to warn everyone - "Be Very Afraid, Dennis!" is on the loose and might just try to charm you.
I hope you like "Be Very Afraid, Dennis!" You didn't let him charm you - did you?

The Victorian side of "Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost!" has her waiting patiently for her introduction while the "ghostly" side of her has been rather impatient."Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost!" wants desperately to be thought of as a "lady" and being accepted by all the proper "ladies" of society.
She doesn't want to be thought of as a ghost and figures that if she gets accepted as a member of the "Victorian Ladies Tea Society" that the other "ladies" in her social circle will have to accept her.
So, she has been petitioning the "Victorian Ladies Tea Club" to let her join. For some reason, however, they have been reluctant to do so citing some old rule against ghosts becoming members.
"Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost!" has been working endless hours on meeting all the members and showing them just what a wonderful "lady" ghost that she is.
She figures if they get to know her they will love her and will have to agree that she is in fact a proper lady ghost and entitled to membership.
So, she is waiting patiently - ever so patiently. She's just hoping they decide soon before her "ghostly" side has just had too much waiting.
"Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost" is a 13" Victorian ghost from our new seasonal Victorian line.
Valerie is a self-standing ghost cloth doll. She has an embroidered and watercolor pencil painted face. She is wearing a cotton slip with black tassel trim and a lace trimmed black diamond printed dress.
She has a fashionable hooded and lined multi-sectional cape with black tassel trim and a lined bonnet with matching black tassel trim.
Valerie is the epitome of class and style, if she doesn't so so herself! She just wishes they would hurry up and decide.
"Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost!" figures if the "Victorian Ladies Tea Society" doesn't allow her into their membership she'll just have to resort to her counter measures. However, she won't tell us what they are. We just hope they haven't been thought up by her "ghostly" side. YIKES! That might not be pretty or lady-like!
There is one "Valerie, The Proper Lady Ghost!" handmade doll available on our Linda Walsh Originals Handmade Dolls and Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE for her handmade doll.
However, if you want to make your own "Valerie" you can do so. Her pattern is available as an instant download e-pattern on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website. Just CLICK HERE for her e-pattern.

Now here's a handsome Victorian gentleman - don't you think?
So what if he's "Count Dracula!" He's still dressed very chic and very much the Victorian Gentleman - don't you think?
He's got the lace ascot, coordinating outfit, and marvelous hairdo. That makes him a wonderful Victorian Dracula - don't you think?
What's the problem? Are the bloody fangs throwing you off?
He's still kind of cute - don't you think?
Come on now. Yo have to admit that he is rather debonair in his black and orange coordinated outfit!
Why, he's suave, he's swank, he's charming and beguiling. He's "Call Me - Your Count Dracula!" and he just wants a wee small bit of your blood. Is that too much to ask?

"Call Me - Your Count Dracula!" wants you to think he is a gentleman but his appearance says otherwise - don't you think?
He really is a handsome Victorian gentleman - don't you think?

He was just dying to show you his extremely coordinated Victorian outfit - amongst other things he was dying to show you. Like his heads!!!!!Why, he didn't even get any blood on his outfit? Now, that's gentlemanly - don't you think?
What's the problem? Are the heads throwing you off?
Actually, Abraham otherwise know as the "Headless horseman" is quite the Victorian gentleman.
He always dresses in his Victorian best. He's always coordinated. And, he's always the PERFECT gentleman.
Except when he can't find "Ichabod Crane!" Then he gets - well, a little nasty.
You'd think "Ichabod Crane" would make it easy on him. Oh, no! He has to see a therapist who's trying to help him overcome his fears of the "headless horseman."
Now how's Abraham supposed to do his job if Ichabod manages to overcome his fears?

His brown corduroy jacket is lined and top stitched with rolled cuffs and folded back lapels with buttons. He's also sporting a lined black cape.
Abraham is carrying the heads of two of his latest victims in his left hand and his favorite ax in his right hand. He just wants to show them to Ichabod Crane. Now why can't he find him?
Ichabod! Oh, Ichabod! Come out, come out, wherever you are!
Come on now, Ichabod! Don't make me mad!

"Ichabod - I'm Not Afraid Of You Crane!" is next and he is hoping that by being very forthright and honest about his fears that he can enlist every one's help in getting over his fear of the dreaded "Headless Horseman." He is so tired and just wants to get a good night's sleep and hasn't been able to do that in so very, very long. You see, he's been afraid of the "headless horseman" for hundreds of years and figures that it's time he got over that. It's time he was able to get a good night's sleep without having nightmares about the "headless horseman" chopping off his head. He's hoping that with your help he'll finally be able to conquer and overcome his fears.
So, with the help of his therapist he decided that he should confront the "headless horseman" and let him know that he's no longer afraid of him. He can't invade his dreams anymore and can't try to scare him to death. And, if he tells him that and you tell him that then, maybe, Ichabod can get a good night's sleep.
Unfortunately, the one night he tried to confront the headless horseman on his own he awoke to find the tombstone and pumpkins at the foot of his bed. YIKES!
"Here lies the body of Ichabod Crane - never to be seen AGAIN!" YIKES!
How is Ichabod ever to get over his fear?

It's Getting Scary In Here! More Witches - For The Dollie Fashion Show
Hey, I thought you said we were supposed to prepare ourselves to get scared next for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series at the dollies fashion show?Well, there's nothing scary about "I Love Sweets Annie."
In fact, she downright lovable and cute!
Her colors are so much like candy corn, and she's so sweet looking, you just want to eat her up.
Duh?
Oh, now I see what you mean.
What's scarier then someone wanting to eat someone else?
You wouldn't eat I Love Sweets Annie, would you?
She's just so sweet.
But, wait a minute, she's a doll.
You can't eat a doll.
She's safe.
Thank goodness I Love Sweets Annie is safe.
HD207 I Love Sweets Annie is a 30” cloth Annie with the sweetest embroidered face.

YIKES!!!!
You weren't kidding.
You said we were supposed to be scared for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series.
With the likes of "Wanda Wicked Witch" I'm sacred to death.
She's downright frightening.
YIKES!!! I can't look.
Why, her own hair is even scared of her.
It's sticking straight out of her head.
Wanda Wicked Witch is a 19” primitive witch with a frighteningly embroidered face.
She's wearing a three tiered frightening and fringed dress, bloomers, boots with ties, and a black witches hat.
Wanda is coffee stained throughout.

YEA!!!!!!!
I knew you'd love her.

Just look at her happy, smiling face.
Definitely not a witch to be afraid of.
No, siree!
Not Ann Marie!
No, siree!
No, siree!
Ann Marie Witches Brew is a 24” cloth Annie witch with beautifully embroidered happy, smiling face.

Ladies and gentleman, look out for "Wild Wilma Witch!"She is the next witch flying down the catwalk for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series.
And, she is quite the fashionable witch.
Wild Wilma Witch also considers herself every bit as fashionable as some of Linda's Victorian "Ladies."
She even thinks she's better than they are as none of them can fly.
Okay, she's got them there!
None of them have all the wonderful accessories she does.
Okay, some do!
None of them are as gorgeous as she is. Okay, some are and some are much more beautiful than she is!
None of them have a witches hat. Victorian ladies with a witches hat? I don't think so!
None of them have fancy padded and lined boots like she does. Okay, that's an unfair comparison as none of the Victorian "Ladies" have feet.
None of them have the sweetest face that she has. Or the nose she has. Or the pointed chin she has.
Okay, another unfair comparison as the Victorian "Ladies" are all faceless and have painted wooden heads.
Come on, Wilma. Just admit you're unique and that's okay!
Wild Wilma Witch is a 20" wood and cloth witch with a beautiful embroidered face.
She has black bead eyes, lined and padded boots, oversleeves and leggings.
She's wearing a fancy witches dress with a lined and embroidered cape.
Her witches hat is lined and padded and she has lots and lots of wire ribbon bow decorations.

Wouldn't you like to spend all day just hanging around?
"Hanging Around The Moon Witch" does and she's next up for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series - The Witching Time.
She spends all day and night hanging around her pal "moon."
He's actually a "friendly fellow!" and loves having someone to talk to.
Hanging Around The Moon Witch considers herself to be a "special" witch as she's got a painted "Raggedy" face.
That's something a lot of witches don't have.
Plus, she has her pal "moon."
That's also something a lot of other witches don't have.
They're all too mean to have "pals."
Not Hanging Around The Moon Witch. She's got her pal "moon" and wouldn't trade places with any other witch.
Plus, she hangs on the wall. So, she can go anywhere.
Hanging Around The Moon Witch is a 20" painted wood witch with socks, bloomers, cute little witches dress, lined cape, lined witches hat, and wood decorative painted accents (like her pal "moon).
She was created based upon a Sawdust and Stitches pattern.
If you would like to purchase "She's Just A Hanging Around The Moon" she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.

"Primitive Witch O' Witch" is unlike any other witch you've seen on our "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series - The Witching Time.
You see, she was labeled as a primitive witch, but she totally disagrees with that label.
She thinks she's a "classy dame" witch!
After all, she has a very fancy embroidered dress and cape.
The latest in French Witch fashions.
Or, at least she thinks so.
In fact, she doesn't think she should be considered primitive at all.
Just because her designer labeled her as primitive doesn't necessarily make it so.
Does it?
Just look at her.
She's classy!
She's fashionable!
She's downright delightful!
Nothing primitive about that!
Primitive Witch O' Witch is a free-standing 24"primitive witch with a drawn face, embroidered outfit, embroidered cape, witches hat, and broom .
"Primitive Witch O' Witch" was created based upon a Granola Girl pattern.
She loves the embroidered pumpkin and vines on the bottom of her dress and the back of her cape. They are just so "classy."
She also loves her flowing gray hair. It too is "classy" and also just happens to be the latest in French fashion.
Haven't you heard?
Gray is "IN" this year.
So, what do you think?
Is "Primitive Witch O' Witch" primitive or "classy?"
If you would like to purchase Primitive Witch O' Witch she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.
"Have A Little Potions" just loves to cook and is next up on the runway for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series. She's eager for everyone in the audience to try her latest brew.
You see, she spends all day just stirring and stirring her potion! It has to be perfect. Just the right mix of this and that.
She finds cooking to be very relaxing and is always eager for someone, anyone to try her latest concoction.
You're brave enough to try it - aren't you?
No?
Don't tell me you're afraid of a little witchy potion?
Think it will turn you into stone, dust, or a frog? Maybe even make you disappear?
Come on - try a little?
You don't want to hurt "Have A Little Potion's" feelings now - do you? She works so hard on her potions.
That's a good boy. Just a little sip.

YIKES!!!!

She is standing and stirring the potion in her painted wooden pot adorned with her favorite wooden decorations.
"Have a Little Potion" was made based upon a Sawdust and Stitches pattern.
Lotion potions are only 5 cents!!
Come on, give it a try!
You won't disappear! WINK! WINK!
If you would like to purchase Have A Little Potion she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.

You might be afraid of "Call Me Count Dracula", but you can't be afraid of "Witchy Poo" - can yah?
You're afraid of "Witchy Poo", too?
She just wants you!

Nah! Not "Witchy Poo!"
She loves you.
She just wants you.
She wouldn't cast a spell on you.
Not, "Witchy Poo", too?
Witchy Poo is a 19" painted wooden witch with a Halloween skirt, checkered apron, and doily collar.
Her fly away gray hair cannot be controlled underneath her lined witches hat.
She has on her favorite painted socks and her wooden feet are adorned with her favorite bows. And, she's carrying her favorite broom.
"Witchy Poo" was made based upon a Mulberry Cottage pattern.
Come on now!
Come see "Witchy Poo!"
She just wants you!
If you would like to purchase "Witchy Poo" she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.
Next up for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" Series - we have "Witchy Spoon."She's a most unusual witch.
Why?
Well, because she's a spoon!
Let's say she's a "Witchy Spoon!"
No pun intended. She is a witch and she is a spoon.
You've got that right.
Her body is a wooden spoon.
She's unusual - that's for sure.
And, she wants to go home with you.
She might be a witch and she might be a spoon, but she's versatile.
You see, you can hang her anywhere. Anywhere at all.
She's looking for a home. A home to call her very own.
Witchy Spoon is a 12" painted wooden spoon witch with a fringed witches dress, and fringed apron. She has flowing gray hair underneath her witches hat that is decorated with a wired ribbon bow. And, she is carrying her favorite pumpkin.
Won't you take her home with you?
She's just a spoon.
Okay, so she's a witch, too!
But, she won't hurt you.
She just wants to go home with you.
To be your spoon - your very own "witchy spoon." Won't you want to take her home with you?
If you would like to purchase Witchy Spoon she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.

Next up on the runway for the dollie fashion show is Katie Kitchen Witch.
"Katie Kitchen Witch" is no ordinary witch.
She's a good witch who brings "good tidings" to your kitchen or wherever she goes.
Katie Kitchen Witch is a 17" wood and cloth sitting witch with drawn and blushed face, gathered dress, fringed apron, bloomers, bandanna wrapped around her white hair, socks, whisk, and potato sack.
Katie Kitchen Witch is happy, she's delightful, and she's full of good wishes. Watch out - she may just "whisk" you away.
She was made based upon a Mulberry Street pattern design.
CLICK HERE or on the picture above to Buy "Katie Kitchen Witch" NOW.
Last but not least is our final witch. She's “Wilma” and she has decided that she wants to be like the "Good Witch" from the Wizard of Oz and not the "Bad Witch." She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and would be too afraid of hurting someone to cast a spell on them. She'd rather be friends and maybe start a cooking club. After all, witches do know how to cook more than just potions. Wouldn't you like to join her cooking club?
Wilma's body is made from pine wood. Her head is cloth and her face is drawn. Her shoes are wooden and painted black and she is wearing white socks. She is wearing bloomers that are gathered at the leg and waist. She has flaming, wild red hair and is carrying a broom made from jute.
Wilma is wearing her favorite witches outfit. Her dress has a spider web design that she absolutely loves and she's wearing her favorite apron which is embroidered with three pumpkins. Her felt vest is embroidered with a running stitch all along the edges and is decorated with button accents. Her felt jacket is embroidered with a running stitch all along the edges and cuffs and is also decorated with button accents. Wilma's long cape is made from black felt and is tied around her neck in a bow. Her black felt hat is decorated with wire ribbon tied in a bow.
Wilma may look like all the other witches, but she feels that her pleasant smile and wonderful, kind demeanor should set her apart from the rest of them. If the other witches don't like it she can always use her cooking skills to brew up a portion. If only she had the nerve or mean spirit to use it.
Designer-Mulberry Street

Watch Out For The Frankensteins At The Dollie Fashion Show
Stomping down the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show Series" is Primitive Andy Frankenstein. He is a 15" Frankenstein Doll Pattern from our Primitive Series.
Don't be frightened.
He won't harm you.
In fact, he's basically harmless.
He might be a "Frankenstein" in essence or appearance, but he considers himself just another "primitive."
He loves the fact that he's coffee stained throughout.
Why?
Because it provides him with a wonderful tan on his face and a wonderful aroma everywhere he goes.
In fact, other primitives often ask where he got his "coffee glow" and his "coffee aroma."
Primitive Andy Frankenstein just boasts "My Linda" gave it to me. She's wonderful.
Primitive Andy Frankenstein has a coffee stained cloth body, embroidered face with two-buttoned eyes, coffee stained shirt with 3/4 length sleeves, vest with patches, and large tattered pants with patches.
He has a small tattered ribbon tied around his neck, and wild black cut straight hair along the sides and top of his head.
Old buttons are used for his head bolts and raffia is tied on his legs and feet for his raggedy stripes.
Primitive Andy Frankenstein might look like a regular Frankenstein, but he knows better.
He knows he's a "Primitive" and that makes him special.
If you would like to purchase Primitive Andy Frankenstein he is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE for his page.

Strolling down the catwalk for "The Dollie Fashion Show Series" - Linda's Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving dolls and doll patterns is Call Me Frank N. Stein. He is a 25" Frankenstein Doll Pattern from our Pleasantly Plump Series and considers himself to be the "politest" Frankenstein around.
In fact, he loves to introduce himself.
He's not "Frankenstein!"
Why, he's "Frank N. Stein!"
A right proper name for a gentleman.
Call Me Frank N. Stein is a free-standing doll and doesn't mean to be scary.
He considers himself a proper "Frankenstein" and tries his best to bring out the good in others.
He can't help it if they run away from him screaming. He does his best to be proper, refined, and respectful at all times. Yet, they still run from him.
He has a worn, tattered and fringed sash, embroidered and blood-stained vest, gathered long sleeved shirt, square-bottomed pants, long fringed scarf, shaped head with wooden screws and embroidered face.
His arms are wire-shaped and covered.
He also has a fabric covered head, wild black hair around the sides of his head and a covered rectangular wood base.
His inner body is supported by a dowel and is covered by his shirt and square-bottomed pants.
He is carrying a "Welcome to Spooky Hollow!" bag.
Fringed scraps of Halloween material are tied around his waist and his wrists.
He has embroidered scars, blood smears and blood drops all over him but those are there for decoration only. They are not meant to be scary.
But, no matter what he does he still scares everyone away when he tries to introduce himself.
He barely gets "Hi, Call Me Frank N. Stein!" out of his mouth when they start fleeing away.

Next Up On The Runway Are Linda's Witches - For The Dollie Fashion Show
Next up on the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show Series" is “Wickedly Plump, Dot.”She is a 25” Witch Doll Pattern from our Pleasantly Plump Series.
Watch out Ladies and Gentleman! Don't get too close to the runway. Dot can be quite scary.
That is - when she puts her "scary" face on.
And, she has it on for "The Dollie Fashion Show."
After all, she and all the rest of the dolls have been waiting a long, long time for their blog post. She wants to make the best of it for it might not happen again for awhile.
So, watch out - BOOO!!!!!!! Dot's strutting (or should be say half-flying half-strutting) down the catwalk.
“Wickedly Plump, Dot” is a free-standing basically happy witch. Her scary face is nothing but show. She really has a delightful face with a wickedly happy grin.
She has a worn and shredded dress with long gathered sleeves, square-bottomed slip, shredded multi-layered overskirt with tulle and shredded shoulder caps. She wants you all to know that her dress is the latest in fashion.
In fact, she has no problem competing with all those snotty "Victorian Lady" dolls of Linda's.
Her vest is embroidered and fastened with a large button. She has an embroidered and lined cape, embroidered, lined and wired ribbon & tulle decorated witches hat, and embroidered face.
Her arms are wire-shaped and covered. Black tulle is hanging from her waist and arms. She also has black hair, a fabric covered head and covered rectangular wood base.
Her inner body is supported by a dowel and is covered by her square-bottomed orange slip.
She is carrying a witches brew bag filled with orange and black raffia and a decorated broom. Orange and black colored raffia is tied around her hat, broom, sleeves, waist, and her neck for decoration.
She considers herself quite "the fashionable witch" and dares anyone to prove otherwise.
Go ahead - see if she'll cast a spell on you?
If you would like to purchase Wickedly Plump, Dot she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.
If you would like to purchase "Wickedly Plump, Dot's" instant download e-pattern doll pattern CLICK HERE for our Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website.
Following William on the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show Series" is "Mabel I Won't Cast A Spell?"She is a 7" Primitive Witch Doll Pattern from our Stout Series.
There is no confusion with Mabel. She knows she's a witch.
In fact, she's a "teasing, taunting witch!" She may or may not cast a spell on her depending upon her mood.
Sometimes, Mabel I Won't Cast A Spell? Can't decide whether to be a good witch or a bad witch. She's watched The Wizard of Oz so many times your head would spin. And, sometimes, her's does.
She is a witch after all.
If you would like to purchase "Mabel I Won't Cast A Spell!" she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.
If you would like to purchase "Mabel I Won't Cast A Spell's" instant download e-pattern doll pattern CLICK HERE for our Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website.
And, next up on the runway for "The Dollie Fashion Show Series" is "Primitive Annie Witch."She is a 15" Witch Doll Pattern from our Primitive Series.
Watch out for her. She can be quite frightening when she wants to be.
Sometimes she gets lonely and tries to be nice. Everyone needs a little company from time to time. Even Primitive Annie Witch.
Don't you feel bad for her?
In fact, she'd actually like to have some real friends.
That way she could always call them when she's lonely and when she can feel a real "Watch Out My Pretty I'm Going To Get You!" mood coming on.
Primitive Annie Witch has a coffee stained cloth body, embroidered face with two-buttoned eyes, coffee stained and tattered dress, tattered apron with bow, and gathered bloomers.
She has a lined cape with patches and wired witches hat.
Because she has a lined cape she feels she is a little above the rest of the witches. They only have wool or black felt capes. Nothing as nice as Primitive Annie Witch has. Wouldn't you agree?
She also has lace-tied boots, patches on her clothes and wild black hair along the sides and top of her head.
Her raggedy leg stripes are sewn on with black floss.
So, do you want to be her friend? She promises she'll try to prevent her ""Watch Out My Pretty I'm Going To Get You!" mood from coming on.
If you want to be her friend just don't wear any "ruby red slippers" when you come to visit.
They bring back too many bad memories for her and might just trigger that "Watch Out My Pretty I'm Going To Get You!" mood coming on.
If you would like to purchase Primitive Annie Witch she is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy her now.
If you would like to purchase Primitive Annie Witch's instant download e-pattern doll pattern CLICK HERE for our Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website.
Up next for the dollie fashion show is "Can For Some Brew, Virginia!"I'll get you my pretty! Yes, I will!" Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha! "My pretty!"
YIKES!
Not only is she a nasty sounding witch, but a really ugly one to boot! Maybe that's why she's an extreme primitive. The uglier - the better.
Well, they don't get much nastier or uglier than "Can For Some Brew, Virginia!"
I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd accept anything from "Care For Some Brew, Virginia!" Would you?
If you did I'm not too sure what would happen to you.
Would you get sick? Maybe!
Would you melt? Maybe if you're lucky "Care For Some Brew, Virgina!" would!
Would you be so delusional you'd start to think "Care For Some Brew, Virgina! was good looking? Maybe, but you'd have to be out of your mind for that?
"Care For Some Brew, Virginia!" is a 9" extreme primitive witch ornament and has a coffee stained cloth body with an embroidered watercolor penciled face. She is wearing fringed bloomers, a fringed dress, fringed and banded apron, has raffia wrapped ties around her legs and feet. She also has a fringed cap and, of course, a witch's hat.
Her ugly ragged gray yarn hair just compliments her extreme primitive appearance. Wouldn't you agree?
Come on now, my pretty! Wouldn't you agree? Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha! My pretty! Care for some brew?
There is one "Care For Some Brew, Virgina!" handmade ornament available on my Linda Walsh Originals Handmade Dolls and Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE for her handmade ornament.

One of our most beautiful witches, "Lady Amanda, The Mannerly Witch!" is up next for the dollie fashion show. I think most witches will tell you that over the hundreds of years that they have gotten a really bad rap!
You see, most people are afraid of witches and afraid that either a spell will be cast on them or they'll be turned into a toad!
That is just NOT so for most witches.
You see, most are gentle and kind. And, most are really very humanitarian. In fact, most are very polite and VERY well mannered.
At least that's what "Lady Amanda, The Mannerly Witch!" tells us. She is anything but mean spirited and doesn't have a nasty bone in her body. Again, that's what she tells us!
In fact she loves life, loves people, kisses babies and loves everything and anything Victorian. So, she commissioned a whole bunch of Victorian outfits to be made for her. She figures that if she's going to be a Victorian witch then at least she should be stylish.
"Lady Amanda, The Mannerly Witch!" is a 14" Victorian witch from our new Holiday Victorian line.
Lady Amanda is a self-standing witch cloth doll. She has an embroidered and watercolor pencil painted face. She is wearing a cotton slip with black fringe trim.
Her beautifully coordinated outfit includes a fashionable dress with black lace overskirt and satin skirt, coordinated orange plaid dress bodice, ribbon bow tied at the high waistline, and lace trimmed sleeves. Her short waisted jacket is lined and has gathered and puffy lined sleeves.
Her lined cape is made of black satin and drapes beautifully from her neck. She has a full head of thick and flowing gray mohair hair. Her witches hat is really anything but a true witches hat. It is a rounded black stain and lined bonnet with black lace trim, and 6 black lace and orange plaid bows and coordinated beautifully with her outfit.
Lady Amanda, is the epitome of stylishness. Or, at least she thinks she is. In fact, she'd argue with you that since the Queen made her a "Lady" with full title and benefits that she deserves respect. Of course, she'll never tell us who the "Queen" was that so endowed her with her "lady" title. The Queen of the witches perhaps? Hmmmm......
There is one "Lady Amanda, The Mannerly Witch" handmade doll available on my Linda Walsh Originals Handmade Dolls and Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE for her handmade doll.
However, if you want to make your own "Lady Amanda" you can do so. Her pattern is available as an instant download e-pattern on my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns website. Just
I hope you like "Lady Amanda, The Mannerly Witch!" She may just change your perception of witches after all. And, that would suit her just fine!
Linda's witches have all strutted their stuff! We hope you enjoyed the show.

More Scarecrows Are Abounding At The Dollie Fashion Show
There are more scarecrows abounding at the dollie fashion show.Raking Hank has got to be the cheeriest of all the dolls in the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls! Series.
I don't think anyone else could even compete with him.
Then, again, I am a little biased.
You see, he was one of the first scarecrows that I made and, I have to admit, one of my favorites.
Sssshhhhhhhh!!!
Please don't tell any of the other dolls I said that.
They'd make my life miserable.
Let's just keep it between us. Okay?
Raking Hank is 20" wood and cloth Scarecrow. He has a delightfully embroidered face.
Why, he can just light up a room with his glow.
We have to keep him away from the leaves for that very reason. His glow would set the leaves afire and we couldn't have that happen.
His head is made of cloth and his body is made of wood, with some strategic padding here and there for effect.
He's also sporting sock, big flouncy pantaloons,a jacket with pockets that is adorned with embroidered stitches.
His ruffled collar matches his big flouncy pantaloons. His big floppy hat is lined and he has raffia tie decorations everywhere. His hair is made of raffia and his big floppy hat sports an attractive bow.
Raking Hank carries his wooden rake with tines for show. We wouldn't want him to set the wood's afire with his glow, now would we?
Designer - Flower Patch Designs
If you would like to purchase "Raking Hank" he is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy him now.
Harold A Scare is here for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls! Series. If anyone can scare the crows it's big, heavy, lanky, Harold A Scare.
All he has to do is spread a few seeds on the ground near his big, heavy wooden feet and then threaten to stomp on the crows.
No way would the crows want to get stomped on by those big, heavy wooden feet.
YIKES!!!!
So, all the birds and the crows been staying away in droves which suits Harold A Scare just fine.
He likes it when it's nice and peaceful and he can relax.
After all, lifting those big, heavy, feet is very tiring.
Harold A Scare is a 26” scarecrow with pleasantly embroidered face. It's so pleasant that his face attracts the birds and crows. Why, he just looks like he'd be so pleasant to be around.
But, when they look down at his big, heavy wooden feet they get scared and fly away.
But, that's okay with Harold. As we said, he likes it when it's quiet.
Harold's feet are a four-pronged configuration to support his upper body.
He has an embroidered & decorated denim jumper that he likes because it's decorated with raffia, flowers, buttons, hearts, pockets, and one of his crow friends.
He's wearing a cuffed shirt in the latest fall colors that sports a ruffled collar.
He keeps a flannel scarf around his neck for some of the colder fall nights.
His big floppy hat is lined and matches the fall colors of his shirt.
With raffia hair, silk floral decorations and raffia decorations he isthe epitomeyy of a wonderful fall scarecrow.
Designer - Krafdee & Co.
If you would like to purchase "Harold A Scare" he is available on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website. Just CLICK HERE to buy him now.

How about another husband and wife team next for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls! Series?
Neither "What's Wrong, Andy" nor "What's Wrong, Annie" knows what's wrong.
Something is, but they just can't put their fingers (or should be say straw) on it.
Their puzzlement is clearly reflected in their embroidered faces.
They just wish they knew.
Maybe if they stop thinking about it, it will become apparent.
What’s Wrong Andy is a 19” primitive Andy scarecrow with a quizzical embroidered face. He has flaming, curly red raggedy locks that cannot be controlled underneath his floppy muslin hat.
His body is made of cloth and his hands and feet are made of raffia.

What's Wrong, Annie doesn't know anymore than her husband does what's wrong.
She thinks that she should know.
She is a female, after all, and females usually have a sixth sense.
But, her sixth sense is not helping her today.
She just knows something is wrong.
Her instincts tells her that's so. And, she always trusts her instincts.
What’s Wrong Annie is a 19” primitive Annie Scarecrow with a quizzically embroidered face.
She has a cloth body and raffia for her hands and feet.
Her rugged colored fall dress suits her just fine.
She also has a full head of curly, flaming red raggedy hair which cannot be controlled under her floppy bonnet.
What's Wrong, Annie's apron is tattered and patched, but that doesn't bother her at all. What bothers is is not knowing what's wrong.

Just Laying Around Scarecrow is perfect for the next scarecrow for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls! Series. After all, he's just laying around.
Not doing anything at all.
Just relaxing.
Not a care in the world.
So what if there are birds and crows in the field?
He doesn't care. He's just laying around enjoying life.
Can you blame him?
Just Laying Around Scarecrow is an 18” Scarecrow with a cheerfully painted face. Can;t you tell he doesn't have a care in the world? He has a cloth body with big hands and feet.
He is wearing patched denim pants, and a paisley and patched shirt. His patched hat can barely contain his curly straw hair.
And, because he has naught a care in the world, one of his bird friends is sitting on his head.
What does he care?
It's only a bird.
And, he likes birds.
Designer - Bless My Bloomin Stitches

Hanging Scarecrow is perfect as the next scarecrow for the "Hey, What About Us! The Other Dolls!" show. Why?
Because he's perfect as a Hanging Scarecrow.
You can hang him anywhere.
Hang him on the front door, in the bathroom, on the wall, in the hall, just about anywhere.
He's a delightful scarecrow and will enhance any room he's in or brightened any door upon which he is hung.

He has a wood dowel through his shoulders which allow him to hang so beautifully.
His shirt is printed with wonderful fall images and colors and has a decorated band.

Next up for the dollie fashion show is an adorable scarecrow. Scarecrows A Sitting is a 20" self sitting scarecrow with a cloth body, dowel supported arms, and cloth head with an embroidered face and black bead eyes. His lower body is made out of denim jeans which has been boxed to make him a self-sitter.
He has suspenders decorated with buttons and raffia for his jeans and the front of his jeans contains an embroidered pocket, embroidered crow, embroidered hearts and fall flower accents. His shirt is made of cotton and is a plaid combination of all the colors of fall. His shirt at the wrists to hold his gloves which are stitched on the outside for his big hands. A large collar and scarf are draped around his neck.
He has raffia for hair that is barely controlled by his big, lined floppy hat. Silk floral accents adorn his hat and raffia bows adorn the button on his suspenders and crow pocket. Raffia accents also decorate his wrists.
His head, body, and clothes were made based upon a Krafdee & Company design. The lower part of his body was altered to make him a self-sitter.
"Scarecrows A Sitting" loves to just sit and watch everyone around him. He'd much rather be inside sitting around than outside scaring crows. He's just not into scaring them.
Why would he be?
They're his pals, his best buds, his crew. Why would he want to scare them?
Then he'd have no friends and that just would not be good. So, just let him sit around. He won't mind. Not at all!

The "Grays" Had A Mini Revolt - Of Sorts!
Over the weekend there was a mini revolt - of sorts! Actually I should say there was a "gray" revolt of sorts. The "Grays" decided they wanted one of their own.
What am I talking about? Well, you may or may not be aware that the "dollies" of "The Dollie Storage Room" blog decided that they wanted to put on a "Dollie Fashion Show", again, since they hadn't done one since 2006 and demanded such . Well, I decided to let them have their way and wrote about their demand in a post entitled, "The "Dollies" Got Their Way - Again!"
So, over the weekend the "Gray Is Beautiful" group of dolls got together and decided that while putting on a fashion show with all the other "dollies" might be fun they'd rather do one of their own.
After all, they're all very unique and very proud of being "gray" and, as senior citizens, well - they could do what they want. They figured, "Why be amongst a group of thousands of dollies when they had enough dolls in their own group for a fashion show and could put on a far better show than the "youngsters!"
So, stay tuned - the seniors are on the runway and getting ready for their own show on "The Gray Is Beautiful Blog." It should be interesting.

Hey, What About The Pumpkins? - Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts
Wait a minute, wait a minute. Haven't you forgotten something, Linda? There's more to Fall crafts than just scarecrows.
Once more, the "dollie's" were right and I had forgotten some of them. I don't know how that could happen. They're all soooooo adorable. Shame on me.
"Okay, you're right. I had forgotten something. I'm menopausal - it happens!" Linda replied to all 6 of the pumpkin dolls standing in front of her with their hands on their hips. "You're up next. OKAY!"
So, next up on the runway are the handmade Fall pumpkin dolls & crafts that I made from other designers patterns. They are part of the "Hey, What About Us? The Other Dolls Series!" Enjoy the pumpkin show.
"Hey, wait a minute! You forgot me!" shouted Pumpkin Pam as she ran to the front of the group of pumpkins standing in front of Linda.
"You're not a pumpkin!"
"Am so!"
"Am not!"
"AM, SO!!!!!"
"Now cut that out both of you," Linda replied. "While it is true that Pumpkin Pam is not really a pumpkin she is wearing a pumpkin outfit - so, I guess she qualifies. Besides she's an adorable pumpkin. She's included and anyone that doesn't like that will be excluded from the fashion show!"
Linda knew that the latter statement would quiet their mouths. They'd mutter under their breathe, which they were doing, but they wouldn't say anything to her. They were all too anxious to be in the fashion show and up on the runway. She'd hear about it later for sure.
In any event, ladies and gentlemen, first up for the Linda Walsh Originals Dolls handmade pumpkin dolls is Pumpkin Pam.

Mr. Jack O Lantern doesn't want to tell his wife but he gets a little embarrassed going with her to the gym. He hates to admit it but she can bench press more than he can. He doesn't let her know. He'd be mortified if all his gym buddies knew. Why, they'd laugh him right out of the gym. So, he spends a lot of time on the treadmill while his wife is lifting weights. Then, when she's on the stairmaster he goes and works out with the free weights at the far corner of the gym.
