The Hand Did Market Now Has Some Of Our Linda Walsh Originals Handmade Dolls & Crafts

We decided to add some of our handmade dolls and crafts to the new "The Hand Did Market" which was created by our friend, Terri Browning who also owns The Pattern Cupboard, Long Cane Primitives, and Pine Level Printables.

According to Terri: The Hand Did Market promotes and provides exposure for talented Crafters that do things as they were done in days gone by... by our hands, individually "Hand Did" with love, time and attention to detail. Everything on our website is handmade in the U.S.A. (And we are proud of that!) Nothing on our site is mechanically perfect and is not mass produced.

I hope you get a chance to visit our new Linda Walsh Originals vendor page and visit some of the other vendor's pages while you're there.

Our Linda Walsh Originals Zibbet.com Premium Shop

Zibbet.com just keeps getting better and better for small business artists and crafters on the web. They have revised their fees and rates structure such that it is TOTALLY FREE for artists and crafters to have a shop with up to 25 items in it. There are NO monthly fees, NO annual fees, NO lifetime fees, and NO per sale fees. It's a HUGE win-win for artists and crafters who have a small amount of products to sell.

They have a premium account now that costs a small monthly fee and allows you to customize your shop with different colors and to add html widgets to the sidebar - which is a big plus. I added my Facebook widgets, Twitter widgets, my Linda's Blog widget, and button banner links to my other websites. I could have added anything I wanted as it has html code features.

Plus, for the premium account there is an incentive for referrals such that by referring a certain number of other sellers to Zibbet.com you can get a free premium account for life. How great is that? If you'd like more information please CLICK HERE.

Zibbet.com is so easy to use and so easy to add products to. I just LOVE it.

A Trio Of Flappers To Love!

The music started playing right away and before I knew it there was a trio of flappers just dancing away. They were doing the Charleston. All heel kicking, stepping, and twirling - all in unison. They were having a carefree old time and didn't look like they were going to stop anytime soon. So, I let them dance - and dance all night they did.

They say that the roaring 20's were a time of zaniness and craziness and our trio "Roxy" flapper ladies were among the zaniest and craziest.

As cousins go Roxy Ash Blonde, Roxy Black, and Roxy White were very much alike. They were only a year apart in age and were all raised together. So, their likes and dislikes were pretty much the same. They loved to dress alike, have similar hair styles albeit of different colors, and do the same things. But when it came to dancing - well that's where they differed a little.

Roxy Ash Blonde loved to do everything with her cousins, Roxy Black and Roxy White, but despite her best efforts was never able to master the "Charleston." She just could not get her feet to move with the same rhythm as her arms. Her time was always off. So, no matter how hard she tried it was beyond her athletic abilities. So, she'd spend her time watching her cousins dance the night away.

Unlike her cousin, Roxy Ash Blonde, who despite her best efforts was never able to master the "Charleston" steps, Roxy Black was a master at it. She could move with a rhythm all her own and was fascinating to watch. In fact, she considered herself the best dancer of the 3 cousins. She knew her cousin, Roxy As Blonde, would agree with her. Now her cousin, Roxy White, well that was a different story.

Roxy White was also a master at it. She taught herself very quickly and in no time had taught her cousin, Roxy Black, too. She had a certain style and flair to her "Charleston" and was fascinating to watch. In fact, she considered herself the best dancer of the 3 cousins. However, her cousin, Roxy Black, didn't agree and was always trying to compete with her.

Despite their competing ways the cousins always travelled together and always enjoyed themselves where ever they went. They were just a trio of happy flappers.

All three are available on the Victorian Ladies page of our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website. Please CLICK HERE for Roxy White, CLICK HERE for Roxy Black, and CLICK HERE for Roxy Ash Blonde.

Good Witch - Bad Witch - Does It Really Matter?

There's just something adorable about witches - don't you think? Now I know they can be downright nasty and have been know to cast a spell or two - maybe even three! Or four! Or five - now that's going overboard!

In any event for every bad witch there is a good witch - isn't there? Well, even if that is not quite true I like to think everything bad is offset by something good.

So, this time I thought I'd show you some of the WITCHES we have for sale on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website. Some are my designs and some were made based on other designers. Each of the designers names is shown on the individual items pages.

Onward To The GHOSTS!

With the Fall comes one of my favorite holidays - Halloween.

Now you might wonder why that is one of my favorite holidays. I'm not sure why it is, but maybe it has to do with all the delightful creations you can make from all the creatures associated with Halloween. Most I will admit are scary - but, then again, some are downright cute! Wouldn't you agree?

So, this time I thought I'd show you some of the GHOSTS we have for sale on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website. Some are my designs and some were made based on other designers patterns. Each of the designers names is shown on the individual items pages.

More Of The Fall Line-up - ON TO THE PUMPKINS!

Did I mention that I just LOVE Fall? Yeah, I think I did - like a million times! LOL LOL

Besides the fact that I love Fall and scarecrows is that I love each and everything representative of Fall (like pumpkins, Halloween, ghosts, goblins, witches, Frankenstein's, Dracula's, Thanksgiving, and pilgrims!) And, the "ornies!" You can never have enough "ornies" or bowl fillers!

And, right after Fall is my second favorite season - Winter. And with Winter we get Christmas and then we get to add angels, and Santa's, and carolers, and snowmen, and snowladies, and elves, and Mrs. Claus, and reindeer, and maybe a few moose! Oh, my - the list goes on and on and on. I bet you can hardly wait?

So, this time I thought I'd show you some of the PUMPKINS we have for sale on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website. Some are my designs and some were made based on other designers patterns. Each of the designers names is shown on the individual items pages.

It's Almost Fall - My Favorite Time Of The Year! Yippee!

I just LOVE the Fall season and around the middle of the Summer I start thinking about Fall and my Fall decorations.

It's also a time of the year that drives my husband crazy. Unfortunately that's my fault. You see I REALLY LOVE the Fall season. And I LOVE to DECORATE for the Fall - which means work for him dragging all my floral decorations and Fall decorations up from the basement.

Now it wouldn't be so bad if I only had a few decorations and a few trips up the stairs.

Au contraire! Did I mention I LOVE FALL.

I can't do anything in moderation. No - not me!

I like a LOT and I like BIG - which means big floral arrangement and big dolls.

And, all this means MANY, MANY trips up the stairs. My poor husband.

What is is about FALL that intrigues me?

I don't know if it's the vibrant colors and all the different holidays. Or maybe, it's the variety of dolls.

Whether it's scarecrows, pumpkins, pilgrims, ghost, goblins, and witches! Oh, My! Whatever it is I LOVE all of them.

And, we have a LOT of variety of dolls for sale when it comes to the FALL. So, I thought I'd show you a few of the dolls that are for sale in our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website.

We'll start with some of the scarecrows and go from there.

Here's a few of our scarecrow designs and a few of the scarecrows we've made based on other designers patterns.
